Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation

Mr. Cukurs has over 26 years of experience in the engineering and construction industries, with the last 13 years in the wind energy industry. Mr. Cukurs, now CEO of Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation’s North American operations, has held prior senior management positions within the wind industry as well as the management of various other international businesses focused on providing design, engineering and construction services.

Mr. Cukurs holds both a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago – Booth Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Cukurs joined Suzlon in late 2004 to manage Suzlon’s international expansion into North America.
